Forensic Physical Ergonomics

Forensic physical ergonomics may apply when tasks to be accomplished by humans require physical demands (strength, posture, repetitive movements) that are beyond the training or abilities of the people who are required to do them. Examples may include user limiting characteristics in product, machinery, equipment, furniture, tool design, or work organization.
HFN’s physical consultants are trained in kinesiology and are experienced in conducting detailed analyses of risk factors associated with poor ergonomics that may result in musculoskeletal discomfort and/or injury with the goal of both explaining the causes and suggesting remedies.
